You're invited to the Unity of Effort celebration - Saturday, Aug 23

The time has come!

You're invited to join Security Services Northwest for our annual "Unity of Effort" celebration.

This public event is held at our Fort Discovery headquarters in Gardiner and goes from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 23.

Shuttle bus service is provided by 7 Cedars Casino.

The annual picnic is dedicated to military, law enforcement and first responders. Representatives of more than three dozen agencies will be on site and will have vehicles and equipment for the public to view.

A $20 suggested donation is asked of members of the public. Military, law enforcement and firefighting personnel will be admitted free. Proceeds will benefit the Special Operation Warrior Foundation.

Events throughout the day include the crowining of the first Miss Fort Discovery, K-9 police dog demonstrations, firefighter demonstration, vendors, musical performances, and children's activities - including a jump house and the always-popular "straw toy find."sors include Security Services Northwest, Fort Discovery, 7 Cedars Casino and Interfor.

Getting to Fort Discovery: Parking at Fort Discovery is extremely limited. Because of this, we ask that guests please take advantage of the free shuttle provided by 7 Cedars Casino. The shuttle departs from the casino’s upper parking lot (see map below) hourly from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm. The casino is about 12 minutes east of Fort Discovery.The shuttle departs from Fort Discovery hourly from noon to 6 pm.
