When describing our company to others, Joe refers to our German Shepherd logo and a description of the dog which is the foundation of our business:

A Brief History
Security Services Northwest, Inc. provides total security services; counter assault team (CAT) services, site security & patrol services, armored car services, alarm installation and monitoring services, and K-9 services to meet all SSNW clients’ security needs. The company was founded in 1977, is locally owned and operated, in Washington State and led by Joseph N. D’Amico, President and CEO, since 1986. Lloyd’s of London insures SSNW and our staff is fully licensed and bonded. SSNW can handle all of your security needs, large or small, anytime, anywhere. In 1999 and 2000, the Puget Sound Business Journal named SSNW one of Washington State’s Top 100 Fastest-Growing Private Companies.
Our Washington training facility has several firing ranges (a rifle range and a newly built handgun range) which are used by SSNW staff for training purposes. The ranges are built for use in all weather conditions. State and Federal law enforcement have used these facilities for firearms training purposes. The site is a remote 3000 acre property with marine and mountain terrain. The land at this remote location rises from sea level to 2000 ft. and affords SSNW CAT members the perfect training ground to conduct "live" exercises.
Over the past four years, SSNW has aggressively expanded its armored car operations into the Seattle market. SSNW’s Seattle facility is an 8,000 square foot building located in south Seattle near Boeing Field. Armored car routes for Western Washington emanate from this facility, which includes a large central vaulting facility suitable for currency and coin storage and processing. Current SSNW banking customers include Bank of America, U.S. Bank, Wells Fargo, Navy Federal Credit Union, and First Tech Credit Union, as well as retailers such as Albertsons, Costco, JC Penney, and Lowe’s. SSNW provides superior cash handling services seven days per week to our clients. Our major competitors do not provide seven day service. SSNW has a 24-hour monitoring facility that allows us to receive calls and dispatch 24-hours per day, seven days per week. This in-house, around the clock capability means SSNW clients have a consistent and readily available communications link. Through our strategic partnership with Oregon Armored Inc., an independent subcontractor located in the Oregon, SSNW delivers cash handling services to bank and retailer locations in southern Washington State and throughout the State of Oregon.
SSNW is a member of the Independent Armored Car Owners Association (IACOA), the Washington Fire & Burglary Association, and the Helicopter Association International. SSNW holds licenses with Washington Utilities and Transportation, Department of License – State of Washington (Security Officers), U.S. Department of Justice (DEA), as well as the State of Washington Board of Pharmacy.
